Default info?

got a couple questions, first i need to know if anyone makes a restoration book for the challengers, something for doing a numbers matching resto... i need to know what all the decals would have been and things like paint marks in the engine compartment and underneath. my second question is about the inside floor pan, they used a black seam sealer that was loosely applied and i would like to know if anything similar is available to replace this after blasting.. thank you for any help

Well for your first question have you found your build sheet.. Usually under your rear seat.. For your second question you can buy brushable seam sealer at the paint store.. Good stuff, smells horrible but its what i use, comes in a quart can. Put it on then put primer right over top of it.

thanks for the advice, ill have to go get some of that sealer. as for the build sheet it wasnt under the seat, i have to find the previous owner to find out more history of the car, it is only a third owner car so im hoping to be able to track down a bit more history, but i was really hoping to be able to come up with some sort of book for the challengers in general...

Here is a good website for information when it comes to E-body Cudas and Challengers ( www.cuda-challenger.com ).. Usually the question you want to ask has been asked there..

Have you decoded your vin? Do you have your fender tags? If so have you decoded them? If not just google mopar vin code decoder and you will be pleased with what you find.

Sorry to anyone if i broke a forum rule by posting the link, i was just trying to help someone out.
