RE: value of a standard 70

Nice car, no doubt. Its not what I would call a standard Challenger. The 340 would of been part of the R/T package and an optional engine at that. You can see if its what we call a numbers matching car. In other words it has all the original equipment. The same engine, trans, rear-end. And most other items that it came with stock. It has more value to purest if the car is #s matching. If not, no big deal. The car is still real hard to find and rarely seen on the street. That is a real nice find and I hope you and your Dad have a blast bringing her back to ship shape.

Sounds like a nice car.. I take it the 5th digit is an H? It more than likely has a 8 3/4 rear end which is plenty good for a 340. Just curious to what color it is? If you buy it be sure to post up some pictures and keep us in mind when your restoring the car as we can help you out along the journey.
