sounds like a good price to me... i was quoted 90 on my mustang so needless to say i change my own now.

 

I went to advance and it cost $67 for 7 quarts and filter , Had my friends shop do the change $15 my first oil change at dealer was $115, so either way $70 or less not bad

 

My dealer sent me thank you letter and coupon for free oil change.

Is the price of an oil change for an SRT different than for an SE or an R/T? I'm curious because of the phrasing of your question.

 

Nobody is touching that drain plug but me. Synthetic oil and a Wix filter should run about $50.

It was FREE, much to my surprise.

 

$70 for an oil change? Seems like a lot to me. You can get 5 quarts of Mobil1 or PP in a jug for around $22 at Wal Mart. Another couple quarts and a filter are going to bring you up to what, $35-40? Guess I'd rather save the money. I'm cheap like that.

 

Free oil change by the dealership for as long as I own my car And the 5.7 holds 7 quarts of oil. So the $67.00 is not bad at all.
