Cool The best way to start your week.

Well I was downstairs watching TV enjoying a bright (for once) sunday afternoon.
The doorbell rings and guess what. This kid that my buddy knows shows up with his 08. We hop in and take for a spin.

We took it out to the country and floored it up to 135.
That thing has to have the sweetest exhaust note I have ever heard. And the car doesn't even struggle getting up to 135. And the best part is,h e said I could (with permission from both sets of parents) take it out for a drive when I get my DL.

Life is good.

How do your parents feel about you riding at 135 mph? Imagine how they'd feel if something happened.

I have had to take mine out on the Interstate alot lately because of the plant I am working at for the next month and a half. I have to keep reminding myself to slow down when going on the on ramp to I-85 in Charlotte. I put it in 4th and floor it. It is so smooth to over 100 mph that I have to ease out of it. My 70 would really let you know when you get over 100. Buit this new R/T is so smooth you have to watch your speed. I use cruise control alot.

I know what you mean about smooth effortless acceleration and solid handling. I always like to floor it at the top of an interstate entrance ramp to allow me to get up to 65 mph to merge with traffic. With my SRT, I am hitting over 90 mph doing the same thing. I have to really be aware of when to let off the gas with this car.
