broken down
My wife got the message from the dealer yesterday and she tells me "Your car is broke." I went to the service dept. to verify the message, she's right. As I was taking to the mechanic, he was holding my broken valve spring. They have yet to tear down the engine, they are checking to see if they can get all the parts. I just hope the valve didn't hit the top of the piston, giving my engine something else to replace. Now I'm out of a car for about a week or more. At least its not my daily driver.

Yes, you are correct. My challenger with about 550 miles(don't laugh). I didn't even get to finish breaking in the engine and it broke. The mechanic said he has never seen this in any hemi, but has seen it in the minivans. Maybe just a bad spring, it was a clean break.

Speaking of Mr. Goodwrench, anybody else notice how the ads on the pages today are HEAVILY for Silverados, and how much better mileage they get than Ram pickups? You'd think that somehow, Chevy or Ford or whatever ads wouldn't appear on a Dodge site.
