Build your own feature finally available for 08 Challenger
 

This has been a long day coming. The build your feature on Dodge.com for the Challenger is out.

Granted it is only for the 2008 SRT8 model, hopefully soon the R/T and other models will be added.

Did you notice when you first log-in, that a full block of colors comes up? White has already been confirmed for 2009- maybe also the retro colors, like Plum Crazy and Sublime?

I only saw the 3 colors. Black, Slate Grey and the Orange, I picked the Slate Gray

No when the page first loads there are 2 squares. One is a play button that plays a movie, and the other is a square with 9 colors in it. What look to be: Titanium, B5 Blue, Dark blue, sunburst orange (or maybe hemi orange), red, dark red, white, silver, and black. I thought it might have been a glimpse of things to come but B5 blue is only on that one auctioned challenger so I doubt they'll have that available for anyone else. So it's more likely just a random sampling of dodge colors.

I thought there was also a purple color.

Always a chance there would only be ONE 2008 SRT8 in B5 blue... maybe it will be an available color for '09 and beyond?

I must be looking at some other page...cause all I see is a choice of Bright Silver Metallic, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat, and Hemi Orange Pearl Coat...the same colors that were announced long ago for the 2008 SRT. The Dark Slate Grey is the interior color.
