Well we should have known the U.S. msrp was too good for us canadians. Just got back from my dealer with pricing from Chrysler. $44,995 base price plus $2000.00 for the special edition canadian 500 package(2 stickers, one on dash one on the grille.sunroof $1,075.00,mygig $1,050.00 and they are not charging to upgrade to 3 season performance tires. I'm getting more upset every second. Still have not included destination charge of 1300.00 and gas guzzler tax of 3000.00.

 

why don't you just come to the U.S. then and buy one here you would probably make out with the exchange rate since the U.S. dollar is so weak

 

I not looking for cheap pricing cause its built here, but pricing that is on par with the exact same car as sold in the U.S. They can take their "special 500 stickers" and put them somewhere else. They make not stick as well but it would be better up theirs than mine.

 

Exactly the way I'm looking at the whole think also Rum, I'll be looking at spending my money in America on this one. As far as warranties go I would think that legally the Dodge dealerships North of the border will have to cover any issues we may encounter, on the basis that really, Dodge sold us the car not the dealerships. If anyone knows the real answer to this, can you let us please know.

Looking at the second attachment has me a bit puzzled. In the lower left corner it shows fuel mileage in l/100 km and mpg. Miles per gallon is stated as 17 city, 26 hwy... what's up with that... am I missing something??

 

Canada uses Imperial gallons...here's the conversion..


One imperial gallon is approximately equal to 1.201 U.S. gallons.
One imperial gallon is exactly 4.54609 litres, whereas one U.S. gallon is exactly 3.7854118 liters.

 

Think I'll start buying them Imperial Gallons... they give you much better mileage...

 

Hmmm....so is there such thing as an imperial pint of Guiness?
