Dimensions
Have there been any rumors on what the production car dimensions might be?

RE: Dimensions
Thanks! I wonder if the production car will be shorter? 197 inches seems long, but fine with me. The Mustang, by comparison, is 188 inches. Just curious.

RE: Dimensions
Hmm... I thought the mustangs looked pretty small. Only nine inches overall length difference isn't that much different. I have been trying to think about the size of the challenger and was thinking it was going to be quite large. Maybe not so much. Anyone have a quick idea what it will compare to off the top of yer head? |
RE: Dimensions
I am hoping the 2009/2010 model will the the LY/LC platform which is 4 inches shorter and lighter.

RE: Dimensions
5 inches longer than the Mustang. Very nice.

RE: Dimensions
Jeremiah, Any good guesses on the width and wheelbase?
|
RE: Dimensions
I am guessing the width will stay the same but the wheel base may be 112" on the new platform. I do not know what platform the 2008 model will be on.
They used to talk that on the launch they would use the LX platform for a year or two and then switch over to the LY platform. I hear that the 2009 may be on the LY platform but I do not know for sure. I prefer the shorter platform for weight reduction primarily which will increase handling and performance if everything else stays the same. |
RE: Dimensions
well it is almost a full foot longer the challenger is
