Dodge Challenger 500

RE: Dodge Challenger 500
In a couple of hours we will see the bad boys again. Those HO SRT's looked so hot last night. Does anybody know the answer to this question, the 08 Charger Daytona is Hemi Orange, is that paint pearl like on the Challenger? If it is we are getting some butt ugly paint. I saw one of those Daytonas and oh boy it is ugly, but you will be noticed. I think it it worse than the Ford Grabber Orange. The car is still cool and few will have one.

Yes! I saw it! I really felt something seeing it. That car has some kinda powerful charisma.
I predict when the Chally hits the streets in numbers, it's gonna produce a
widespread mania like no other. I would not be surprised to see the price markup for these
go way up. America is about to get Chally fever. Mustang who?

I don't believe there was any reference to the challenger at all. The word challenger was never spoken to my knoledge. You surely would have thought something would have been said.

Hey guys was it me or did Dodge miss the boat again. I also saw nothing, referring to the challenger pace car or anything to do with dodge. Hell dodge never had a commercial during the whole damn race. I think anybody could do a better job(even me) of advertizing than who they have hired now. Let me get this straight, they sponser a race on national TV, name it after there brand new challenger and then don't advertize it. I'm still PI**ED!!!!!

RE: Dodge Challenger 500
Well since the car doesn't need much advertising and since Chrysler is a huge penny-pincher nowadays, I guess they decided to skip on commercials. It was probably cheaper. But then again why did they even bother to sponsor the race? I'm guessing it was pretty cheap?

RE: Dodge Challenger 500
Yeah, I was stymied by that as well. I came out of the yard @ 8:15, a little bummed I didn't dvr the race, started watching, and go figure they were on a 100 something lap run. Commercials finally come up and I'm expecting (though not really sure why as we would have known about them if there to be happening on this board) to see some cool commercials.
I'm with ya. I think they are saving their ammunition for the launch for inventory that needs advertising to sell. The Challenger will not need advertising.
Still would have been nice for them to have thrown us rabid fans a bone.
