RE: FANTASTIC NEWS!

This salesman has been at this dealership for 20 some years. He also didn't even ATTEMPT to sell me the Charger R/T we took on a 30 minute test drive. I found him to be trustworthy. Thats the only reason I even thought about posting a dealership rumor, as they are most often completely inaccurate. Hopefully this one is accurate.

when i worked at the stealership, we had ONE nice salesman, who really knew his stuff. since i worked there, i always refer people to him. he is completely straight forward with people. also, the guy whom sold me my stratus was very honest with me, but for the most part, salesmen are clueless...

What I do when I test drive is I play stupid to see if the salesman knows anything. It is a disgrace the morons they have working at most of the dealerships. The most demonstration has to be the one where the sales man was trying to sell me a Sebring because "the fuild resevors are clear so then you can see how much fluid is left." I wonder if he was going to show me that this car has tires and tires make the ride more comfortable. Fool. He didn't know anything about the car. When I asked him how many miles I could expect out of it, he said "five years." I didn't ask how much years, I asked how many miles and five years is nothing to brag about. Complete moron. He didn't know any engine stats or anything else.

a friend of mine was helping his ex gf shop for a ride, and she wanted a grand cherokee...while at the dodge dealership, the sales moron went on and on about the "amazing power of the new hemi"...my buddy called me and said "did they make an 01 jeep with a hemi"...

because of him basically lying about the engine, the sales manager took over, and she got a great deal on a nice 01 GC.

It's nice to have idiots as salesmen so then you can get a nice discount. My cousin and her husband (at that time) were buying a 2001 Silverado and they got a nice $3000 discount because the salesman told them it had a 5.3L V8 when it only had the 4.8L.

You might want to start looking and asking around at your local Dodge dealerships because some have already started waiting lists. One dealership told me they are expecting a shipment 18-22 months from now(Sounds good to me). For those in Southern Califonia Huntington Beach Dodge has started a wait list that only has about 10 people on it so far.

What good is a list, you need something in writing that states a sales price!
