A first

The Wednesday, March 4 San Antonio Express-News actually carries a new-car ad for a Challenger. Bluebonnet Motors has a full-page ad for a variety of vehicles, one of which is a Challenger R/T for $37,020. All the other vehicles (ranging from Rams to Avengers) are heavily discounted. Not the Challenger, though. Also, the pic of the Challenger is reversed. The gas cap is on the passenger side in it.

Most dealers still do not get it. The local dealer here still has them marked up with no incentives, and they are not selling.

You didn't hear? The economy is perfect and everything is selling just fine. At least that's what these dealers seem to think. They will move, it just may take months and months. From what I hear, some of these dealers are willing to wait that long. The dealer out here that I don't like, most people know I call them Broadway Dodge, has a used car that has been sitting on the lot for 360 days and the owner, Jerry Morris, refuses to take anything less then the price he put on the car.

I have a Dodge Dealership literally in my back yard, 5 minutes from my home. I couldn't make a deal with them so I drove to the next dealership about 20 minutes away. I told them of the arrogant standoffish way in which we were treated, and they took another $800 off the price of my RT just for our coming there, plus gave me lifetime inspections on the car.

20 minutes, boy that would have been nice. Since you are new, and if you haven't seen the other postings of mine, I'll tell you what they seem to think in this state. They own the rarest cars around and will not take anything MSRP or under. The range is $3,000-$10,000 over MSRP, nothing less. The one dealer I found would do it for EPP, but they couldn't get my car four mother after I ordered it. All these dealers were in state, 5 min to 1 hr away. I finally traveled 600 miles to get a good deal. Glad you didn't have to.
