Garage Queen or BEEF IT UP?!!!

Garage Queens or Beef it up?? should muscle cars be restored to be left in the garage and be driven only on the nice sunny days Or Should they be restored to be upgraded with after market parts and burn rubber on a weekly bases

Hopefully, the new Challenger will not need to be restored. If it does I have a real serious problem on my hand. LOL!

I will add to muscle performance parts over time. Mine will not be a daily driver as I already have that. Mine will be a
burn rubber on the road warrior early on Saturday mornings.

I take this question pertains to the classics? Really depends on the owner. I know my views have changed over the years, probably not the way you think either. Some few of the ultra rare or fine original numbers matching types should be preserved.

well...i have always been a believer that cars wont melt...so if there is a chance of rain, it wont hurt the car, unless its a topless roadster.

If it's an original numbers matching low production car, restore it to the build sheet. If not, do it the way you want it.

Well. I would have to say a little of both. I would drive it everyday. Mainly gas prices. The oldy but goodies sucked the gas, BUT I would at least drive it once a week to work. To show it off and keep those fluids going.

That's true.... even the restored ones should be driven once in awhile. It's a shame when they become viewed as too valuable, virtually works of art, to see the street.... hell, even a '71 Hemi Cuda convertible was built back in the day to storm the streets....

To me if they didn't want a car to be driven then why in the hell did they put those tires on them?[&:]
