Never thought about that...I bet they'll slap it on the drivers side.

RE: Gas Port

this was discussed on DF...someone over there asked (as i was so awe-struck that i didnt notice the lack of a gas cap) and the person on the platform said that it is under the license plate, but that seems awfully low to me..you would have to kneel to fill it up...and think about the entry angle of the gas into the tank?

also, someone here said that dodge announced that they wouldnt keep the neon light bar, so perhaps they will put it in the middle around there? the e-body cudas had them under the plate as well...

Seein' that the gas filler is on the driver's side on the Chargnum and the Magnum, that's the most likely spot for it on the Challenger.

I'd be truly surprised if it found its way behind the license plate. That's not exactly an ergonomic spot.

Yeah, it will probably end up in the same place as the charger and magnum. MAc is right, ergonomically it would be bad. Especially for people who have bad backs like meself.

I can't image they would do that again. I believe they had safety issues with having gas port behind the license plate holder.

hmmm, me being 5'6, i think the gas cap behind the plate would be retro, but like everyones sayin.... people so have bad backs, same spot on the charger and magnum would be accpeted in my standards

Your right about that. My primary concern though about having that positioned there is in a rear collision they have been known to explode. That is why they don't do that anymore.
