Happy Holidays: See You in 2008, Plus a Poll (RED LETTER DODGE)

More info promised for Chally next year....OK not much of a stretch there....and ......a poll for which alternative drivetrains interest you....yawn....again, I find electric to be intriguing simply because you can apparently make a very fast one....

Happy Holidays: See You in 2008, Plus a Poll
Dec 20, 2007 at 1:34PM RLD

We’re going to take a little holiday blogging siesta as 2007 draws to a
close while Chrysler and Dodge employees enjoy their well-earned time off.
Coming up next year, we’ve got lots more posts on Challenger, hybrids,
Ram, Grand Caravan, Viper, Avenger, Charger, SRT, motorsports, concepts,
engines, advertising and much more. And more insights and features from
the fine folks who are making The New Dodge what it is. Thanks for all
your comments during 2007…looking forward to a great 2008!

But we won’t leave you empty handed in this season gift giving, so
please spend some time taking part in our new poll (Challenger won the last poll as most successful concept car in modern times by a wide margin)…with the green
movement gaining steam, which new technologies are catching your eye? Vote in the poll on the right side of this blog.
Discuss in the comment section.

“Which green technologies would you like to see in your garage in the
future?” (You can vote for as many as you like)

–Hybrid
–Biodiesel
–Plug-in electric
–Ethanol Flex Fuel
–Fuel Cell
–Compressed Natural Gas
–Anything That Goes Fast

Yeah, I'm going to have to go with electric as well. I've read some articles, but never seen them in person, of peoples rides converted to battery power doing some decent runs in the 10's and such.

Too bad they didn't mention Hydrogen on Demand....that's a wonderful concept....no that physics dictate you can't harness more energy than is there and all that (of course by the laws of physics bumble bees and humming birds are out laws -meaning they don't abide by the laws) so whose to say.....

I can go to go to youtube and punch in hydrogen tap.....and just watch that guys library....monotone drone delivery...but he's more of an amateur scientist not a broadcast enthusiast...regardless....you can watch him for hours doing the whole faraday trip......

very enjoyable stuff to watch.....

I like the idea of optimizing ethanol/petrolium distillates by mixing them w/ hyrdogen....not suggesting you replace, merely get more from what you burn....

Meh I would take hydrogen over anything since electric is definatly not releaving any problems, since producing electricity which would be in high demand, it would be a waisted cause.

I would like to see some real development on hydrogen fuel cells as well. Hybrids are an interim and battery replacement at some point with hybrids could prove costly. Fuel cells, while still early in development have the least damage to the environment than most of the other options, although I would certainly miss the roar of a 6.4l v8. What is one to do?????

nuclear??? that would be one mean ride... i would hate to see the mushroom cloud that would result from an accident.[sm=smokin.gif]
