I was wondering if anyone has changed out your gears... i have someone asking me if he can change his out to 355 gears do you all have any ideas?????????????

Richmond makes the 3:55 gears for our cars. I dont have any dealer to recommend for special pricing, but if enough people are interested I will check.

 

hey Andre hope all is well. and thanks for checking for me...my guys say that if the gears are changed they they afraid that it will effect the esp,bas,traction control,speedo and trans....since we cant program the gear size in controller i am wondering if we can even do this.

 

This is something I've considered. I'd like to hear a response from Andre on this one for Challygirl.

 

Challygirl moparsupercenter was working to put together an exchange program / kit to do it. It was also supposed to include a LSD. I have not talked to them in about a month so I am not sure where it stands. May want to check some of the "new" Charger forums as these guys have been facing the same issue for longer. I have read some of the posts a while back and clearly the electronics is the largest stumbling block. Frankly. I would have thought (and perhaps it exists) that the aftermarket might have had a "patch" for that by now.

 

Yep, checked out Mopar supercenter tonight. You can buy the pumpkin ready to go with 3.55 or 3.23 for $3295.00. You can buy just the gears alone for $599.99, but they warn that custom snap rings are needed and not available anywhere. Maybe Andre has a source idea?

Did you talk to Jeff or Ted at Moparsupercenter? From what I heard the snap rings may be available from a Benz dealer on the West Coast. I am trying to get more details.
