Heads-up!!!!!

Look at your bucket seats on the out-board side of the seat between the seat pad and trim peice. There is a bolt that goes through the end just ahead of the seat back and pushes against the seat material. Will be a problem in the near future......I am going to find some plastic caps and slip over them......JB.

Valkyire9901, yes I noticed:eek: that too and its been posted on here guite a few months ago but I can't find the post. If you find a good plastic or rubber cap that slips over these bolts please let us all know. There are a lot of us that need them so if you can help it would be great. I'm looking in my Home depot, Lowes, Ace Hdw & Etc also. If I find something I'll post it too. Thanks for the heads up! Fat Cat

I had some smaller soft plastic caps then forced them over a little bigger round peice of steel. Then I heated it up with a Bic and let it cool.Slipped it on the bolt and turned it down on the threads of the bolt.It only needs to be 3/8's of an inch long.........JB.

I went to pep boys and got a pack of 7/32 vacuum caps, cut them in half and slipped them over the bolts with a little elbow grease. Nice tight fit and nice and smooth now.

I took my car back to the dealer in June & they removed the bolts, cut them off & put them back in. This solved the problem. It only took about 30 minutes.

For .79 you can get small black plastic bolt covers at ACE Hardware.

They slip over the exposed bolts on the seats and this is resolved.

This problem has been reported to MOPAR and their seat supplier long ago.

No resolution from the factory yet.

Heck, we're lucky they are still in business.

Actually, I'm glad this topic got brought up again. I'd kind of forgotten about the issue. Needless to say, I stopped at Home Depot and got two bolt covers for 50 cents.
