How should we name them?

How should we name them?
When the new 2008 Challenger is released, or written up, how should we distinguish it from the Concept?
I propose, that the metallic orange Concept Challenger be called, just that, Concept Challenger.
The mean black Super Stock Concept Challenger should be called the Super Stock Challenger
The 2008 should be referred to as the 2008 Challenger,
and as various models or colors are produced, that information can be added as an adjective or in parenthesis after.
Similarly, following year's editions would be called 09 Challenger, 10 Challenger etc.
I, personally, am not fond of the endearing term "Chally"
Forum input?

RE: How should we name them?
i dont care for "chally" either...but at times laziness takes over my distaste for the name...[:@]
i refer to the concept as "the detcha car". the cars serial number on the tag reads 06DETCHA...ive been calling it this since i first saw it.
the super stock challenger is a concept car that will never ever see a hope of production, so i dont know that we need a name, unless you see it in the WPC museum and say "hey, thats the old challenger SS concept."

Personally, at home, I'm already referring to "the '70" for my original Challenger and "the '08" for my next one. And, no, I would NEVER refer to such a fine automobile as a "Chally." But I think I've noted that before.

RE: How should we name them?
Great forum feedback.
I guess I am thinking also about classifying items in my collection, based on the various titles we've deiscussed. For example, everything (diecasts/posters/video/magazine articles etc) collected so far, would all come under the category of Concept
Challenger. Soon enough, press reports, road tests, Chicago auto show programs will shift to 08 Challenger and "Concept Car" memorabilia will dwindle if not stop completely.
I need to look up the public opening day of Feb Chicago Auto show. Anybody else want to plan to be there and meet up?
