It's in my driveway.!!
A couple of days ago (Mon) while I was at work I had finally decided, that with the economy the way it was,
with my difficulty selling my truck, and a few other things, that I was not going to buy an '09..
I got home and checked my email and there was a message from one of the dealers in town
that he was getting a Deep Water Blue SE "E" pkg in.. So I called them..
Was I interested.?
He said they only wanted $3000 over sticker..
I laughed so hard I thought I was going to get sick.. I said nope, I will wait..
Then the manager got on the phone and said he will sell it to me for only $1000 over sticker..
I laughed again and told them they were NUTS..
Then the salesman called me again on Tuesday and said that they had decided to sell it to me for sticker..
I thought about it for at least 1/2 a second and put a deposit down over the phone..
Since they had not actually received it I told them do NOT:
put any stinking dealer badges on it..
wash or touch the outside of the car,
drill any holes for a front license plate..No problem he said..
So the last couple of days I have been watching the progress of it on the train..
On Friday I finally saw that it was going to be delivered to the dealer at noon..
This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had..
Even with the finance guy..
I did buy the "Lifetime Bumper to Bumper" warranty which I normally never buy,
but I am planning on keeping this car for the rest of my life..

Signed a few papers and then drove it directly to the Discount Tire store.. 9 miles on it by the time I got there..
I told them what I wanted to do and they said they would give me 40 bucks per tire on trade..
Total of less than 500 bucks to get some meat on the rims.. Doing that Tuesday..

The guy with the red jacket is Mike Billings..
works at Bob Moore Dodge in Oklahoma City..
Great guy (and company) to do business with..
He said he would like to offer help to anyone on here that is still looking for their Challenger..

A huge congrats DH... looks like the grin is in full force by the looks of the pic!
Please post more pics when you get your tires... I am sure many of us would love to see...
Sweet looking ride... let us know your first impressions once you"ve had the chance to drive her a bit.
