Need help
Hello everyone,
I'm buying a torred se completely basic and the dealer told me I have to order it to get plain like that. I live in Miami fl. Does anyone know how much do I have to save for registration and license plate. I'm switching plates from one car to the challenger. And how much will I be looking to spend for insurance since I'm 23 years old. UPDATE**** I just found an se the way i wanted it. Its 26000 becuase it has some options i would not mind having. NOw I need to know how much can I lower the price of the car??? They said 22000. I would pay 22000 with taxes included. What do you think? oh and I put a 100 deposit. Can they still sell it? becuase i can buy it in the 20th of this month not today. THANK YOU!!! |
RE: Need help
I would look around a bit, they surely have some coming in that are basic se models that the dealers sell as is.
I asked one of the local dealers if I could get a basic se and he said as soon as they get them in they put $3-4K of accessories on them. He did say they had one coming in that I could get but I had to tell them I wanted it so they knew not to add the accessories. Sounds as if that is what most of them are doing. Can't help with the insurance, but I would think it would be reasonable if your driving record is clean. Good luck. |
RE: Need help
My local dealer never has base models, they are always loaded up, I dont know how it works in FL with registration, but in NV they pro-rate whatever time is remaining on the plate to the new vehicle.

You can do a online bid for the car with options that you want. Also go to edmunds.com or nada.com to find out the invoice price of the car that you want. Good luck. |
RE: Need help
In Miami they won't budge my brother , Kevin can attest to this.
If your anywhere close to MSRP in Miami then your in good shape because every dealer I know in Palm Beach and Miami are asking over MSRP Dadeland Dodge want's almost 60,000 for an SRT. |
RE: Need help
I looked at an R/T the other day, thinking of getting one for the wife, it was going for $52. Guess I'll d back to Texas like I did for CRUSH.

RE: Need help
You don't think they can add 3-4K in dealer options? Spoilers, stripes, pedal kits, sealants, wheels, sills, tint, floor mats? The list goes on, lots of profit there, way more than having the factory do it.
