Default Rear Tires

I saw a good rear picture of the concept car. While the tires are very tall, it doesn't appear to be able to handle wider tires based on my viewing the picture. I hope this isn't the case as one problem with the old Challlengers is they had skinny legs. That is why I added 60's on the rear tires of my Dodge Challenger.

here is a picture of the undercarriage...i think that it appears as through there is some room under there..i wil be going to see it again this saturday, and i will investigate further.

also, i am REALLY hoping that the 21 inch rims are either done away with, or offered as an option, as i am not interested in them...i want big meat udner the back end...

Time to bring a tape measure with you!

If they'll let you get close enough, find out what the backspacing on those rear wheels is. That'll answer my questions.

I'm not a big fan of the huge rims either. I'd be happy with 17" rims and nice fat Coopers. RWL, of course. Ooooh.... IDEA!! If you can, get a straight side shot of it (like this one, only more space at the front and back). I'll photoshop in a rear wing and 17" American Mag Torque Thrust wheels and Cooper tires.

so youd like this picture, but zoomed out more? anything else? i dont know how crowded it will be, but i will do my best...these pictures are so close up because they were taken during industry day..so there was literally no crowd.

A side view and back view should do it. [8D] But yeah, just pulled back more.

Based on this picture it is difficult to tell but it looks like tire width could be limited.

Another comment I had on my 1973 Challenger.....If I had 3 people in the back seat or 2 big people the outer wheel well would rub on my white letter on the tires. Notice that the rear of the car
is lifted higher to keep this from happening because I had pneumatic shocks I could air up.

This subject is one of the complaints I have about the new Mustang. I think it's a great-looking car (the Mustang) but the tires are tall & skinny. I see the last gen Mustangs going around with huge meats but the new gen Mustang just looks wimpy from the back.

Gotta have big meats for the right look, I agree 100%.

youre right..especially with the terminators..they have huge skins under the back end from the factory, and it gives it a mean look
