rear windows

Has anybody seen any pics with the windows down? I was wondering if the rear side windows will roll down, or just the door windows? I realize the b-pillar keeps it from being a true hardtop...

I don't think they will roll down. Someone posted factory shots of the body shell months ago and it looked like that qtr. window was surounded by a metal frame. If you look at many of the spy shots you'll see that flat black paint around the entire qtr. window to hide metal and interior trim pieces. If you tint the car all will be hidden. My thoughts, I could be wrong.....

Anybody off the top of their heads remember if Super Dark Tint is available?

Some states don't allow ANY tinting of the windows, some allow/require a certain minimum/maximum % of light transmission, and still others have little if any regulations regarding window tinting.
Check with your state's Dept of Motor Vehicles.

My guess is they are fixed too, unlike the original E-bodies.

Oh yeah, familiar with regulations on tint, had a friend who was ticketed multiple times because he had pimp tint, got lighter and lighter shades until he stopped having to appear before a judge....oddly, I look at the tint on my Toyota Minivan and it's as dark as you want behind the front seats....seems like a double standard. But I guess how many self respecting gangstas and neerdowells are rolling Sienna style......

Still, as dark as their allowed will be as dark as I have mine!
