RE: Rough-riding
I suspect it will ride rougher than a Charger, somewhat like a Mustang GT does today.

You may never get that exact feeling because the originals used torsion bars and I hated them. Poor performance and were horrible to adjust.

RE: Rough-riding
The SRT models will be set up to handle. The suspension will be firm but not rough. It will be night and day better than the heavy duty suspensions that were in the Challenger R/Ts.
I like retro, but why would you want to have an inferior set-up? That is one reason why I am buying a 2009 SRT Challenger instead of a restored 1970/1971.
Note: I read recently that the best handling car from the 1970s was the Boss Mustang. It, however, only accounted for .78g.

Heck no! I don't desire an ill handling ride (not counting my Ram 1500 truck)! I want the Challenger and I want it to stay true to its roots but I want it to perform for todays expectations.

RE: Rough-riding
The 2005 GT pulls 0.87g Chief and I can tell you from personal experience it does not "ride rough". Compared to the `99 GT I once owned, the two are worlds apart!
