SAW ONE ON THE ROAD!!!!
Today, Saturday 3/8/08 around 3:00 PM, On M14 west of Detroit between US 23 and I 275, eastbound.
Manufacturer plates, drab dark olive green Challenger. No name plates, no engine badging on hood, "carbon black look" hood black out. Don't care for it in this color, maybe intentiionally drab. Maybe an 09 pre production buck??? Of all times to not have camera, couldn't wait to get home and post!!, Benefit of living in metro Detroit. Steve |
RE: SAW ONE ON THE ROAD!!!!
If dark drab olive is their replacement for sublime I'm gonna be pissed.

RE: SAW ONE ON THE ROAD!!!!
I'm jealous you're at least seeing them on the road. Saw another post on DodgeForum saying '09's may have Shaker for R/T's...hopefully SRT's too. Get anxious for that 6 spd arrival!!

RE: SAW ONE ON THE ROAD!!!!
I know what color your talking about (i think) It was posted on this website while back. Jalopink had a pic of it with a red challenger RT at the roush station. The picture is BMP so it wont upload, but here's a link:
http://jalopnik.com/351545/2008-dodg...-the-cool-kids If so, I think its the color that the first on left on the color cube for the challenger on Dodge.com. Edit, Never mind, I was able to get it. But I left the link. |
RE: SAW ONE ON THE ROAD!!!!
ORIGINAL: Chris It definitely wasn't black??? Olive green seems like a strange choice. I can't even think of another car currently made that comes in olive green. |
RE: SAW ONE ON THE ROAD!!!!
I thought the color in that pic was titanium. Not a very big fan of that shade on any car. It just blends in with asphalt and gloomy skies. Ford has one kinda like that on the mustang but it's much darker. Kind of an easy to keep clean black.

RE: SAW ONE ON THE ROAD!!!!
Looks nice, thanks for sharing it.

RE: SAW ONE ON THE ROAD!!!!
Who knows I may be wrong, its the closest thing I could find to color steve described. I am sure he'll try to confirm it either way.

RE: SAW ONE ON THE ROAD!!!!
You are probably correct. Reminiscent of the TA photo, but in my opinion drab, dark, green.
