Take a look at this, and Please post Vin!
After looking at 100's of posts on this board we have 12890 numbers between the lowest vin, and highest vin noted. Why is this?
I thought perhaps they skipped numbers, but I see odd and even ending vin's?
My next thought was color so perhaps 30---- would be silver, 29---- would be mango and 28---- black.
6400 built... You would think we would have 6400 numbers in a row.
My vin is 300590 Silver.
PLEASE post last 6 and color

VIN numbers will be all over the place, as vehicles are not built in VIN order, and as mentioned are mixed in with the 300 and Chargers. #300590 is a silver Challenger, but 300591 could be a 300C, 300592 a Charger SRT, 300593 a Charger R/T and so on. Or you could have a run of a few in a row, or a hundred in a row that are all Challengers. Since VIN numbers are assigned in advance, as orders are placed all over the country at different times, it would be too difficult to have them built in exact order. You have the endless options vehicles come with, and other variations like colors and trim, as well as component delays, all of which make it difficult to run in order.
As far as the numbered plaques go, it will be interesting to see if they follow exact production order when assigning them. We'll know once everyone starts getting their vehicles and comparing the plaque numbers with build dates...
