Thoughts on the 09 release?
 

Has anyone heard any info on when they are going to release pricing and order dates for the 09’s?

Now that the 08’s are moving into “D” status, I would think in the next two weeks those cars would start going down the line. With that in mind I would think they would want to have the 09’s follow right behind them. If the system is all set up then why not keep it running right?

I have heard three dates tossed out from contacts at Dodge for possible first order entry dates for 09’s. April 7th (highly unlikely since there hasn’t been pricing announced) April 21st (possible) and May 5 (also possible)

What do you guys think? When will pricing be released? what about first order entry?

I would think $$$ after the 08s are mostly built and shipped as to not flood the market, than have peeps play the wait and see game. For me my finances aren;t even close to place an order either way. I would think start taking orders in late summer. And probably start at the tail end with SEs first, and RTs last as the possible best seller. Of course DOdge probably has a master plan as it has heard from all the dealers on what the Vibe on the street is

All the Dodge web site says is "2009 pricing coming soon."

I would guess by the end of April. ;)

Agreed - early to mid May at the latest.
With the production line rolling full ahead now, and '08 numbers limited, I'd say you'll be able to order an '09 by the end of June to mid July for delivery with the other '09's in September - maybe sooner.
We'll see - but not soon enough! Getting itchy for a stick.

Yea, that pricing to be released soon has been up on Dodges site for a while now. I wish I knew when "soon" was. It is such a vague term. If you read threw a lot of the boards and RLD people aren’t waiting so patently anymore. I hope they get the ball rolling on the 09's soon.
