what i dont expect to see on the actual vehicle
As alluring as the challenger concept is will all know it wont make it an uninteruppted from concept floor to show floor, so what do you guys think will or will not make? My personal opinion:
Make it: "six shooter" front lights back tail lamp (the eclipse made it work so can DCX) Pistol grip shifter (probably an extra cost option, my guess $50) Interior (mave have different materials and more silver or satin accents ) 250 V6, 5.7 hemi, 6.1 hemi, 6.4 hemi (500 hp only if viper gets a hp boost) "classic colorways" 4200+ pounds (Unfortunately) [:@] butterfly hood scoops (hopefully) [:-] Won't make it: concept rim design (sxt, rt, &srt8 wheels more likely) carbon fiber frame carbon fiber hood viper 6 speed (maybe a different 6speed but probably a five) gauges (at least the 1/4 time part) ride height minor sills and paneling a reasonable price... lol :D What is your opinion? please post it, i would like to know what any and everyone thinks. |

We actually talked about it a bit on the post " What will Challenger concept lose in production? "
Take a look and give us your feedback. |

If that is all what is lost from the concept, then it will be one excellent car. However, I really wish they would keep the T-56 Tremec. they have been working on getting rid of their 5-speeds in there trucks and SUVs such as the Liberty, which doesn't really need a 6-speed as much as the Challenger.

Yes, keep the T-56 and a Dana 60 also while they are at it.

I agree the six speed should stay maybe not for the lower trim options but for 2008 a five sp. is super outdated.

The only model I think would be okay to have a 5-speed with would be a V-6 version. I guarantee that the Camaro will have 6-speeds for the lower level V8 just like they did with the previous model. Dodge should not allow them selves to be out done.
