When you picked it up how many miles on the odometer??

For those of you lucky enough to get yours Im curious how many miles were on it?? And whats this I hear about a 20 mph fuse??
I was going to wait but I cant stand it,, just talked to the salesman I have been dealing with and tomorrow Im going to give them a thousand deposit. I agreed to MSRP which seems to be the going rate within my area. Im really not seeing the payback to drive 8-10 hours for a grand or so considering the cost of going to get it.
Anyway how many miles are on your cars when your getting them and how many are on them when they come off the transporter??
Im gonna be real bitchy and demanding that my car NOT be driven by anyone anywhere beyond the lot of the dealer to do prep work!
Looks like mine will be parked in the garage all winter. I need to find out about covers.

My car #120 delivered 6-3 had .9 of a mile on it. The salesmen told me it had .2 when it came off the truck.

Cool. Somebody drifted it for seven-tenths of a mile. ;)

Now thats what I call NEW!
I just cringe thinking of going to pick up a new one with 15-20 miles and all the mechanics and sales guys have hammered it down the back street.

Cover King has a good Q & A on how to select a cover. See:

when a dealer gets any new car or truck the dealer they are to perform a pre delivery inspection and must test drive it to 8 miles on the odometer minimum..
chrysler states that this is for testing of the air bags...if the air bags were to have a problem it will register within the first 8 miles.....99% of the vehicles are delivered under 3 miles...
hopefully you all get your cars with less-because i know when these cars get to the dealers the dealer employees are going to sworm this car and all be in it and driving it...good luck Joani

Testing is a good idea. I know a guy "Toothless Ed".....Ed left the Harley Dealer, after inking his new toy,and ripped through the gears. Then he came to the red light with the Chev pickup tailgate waiting for him. No brakes. Well "Toothless Ed" now lives in AZ with $$.
Testing is a good idea.

I hope they drive mine 60 miles or so...I don't want to have any issues or problems once it’s delivered...once I get it I don't wanna be taking it back for repairs!
