I got CRUSH all cleaned up and waxed last night and headed out for a drive today. Here is some of what I experienced.

1. A guy in beautiful Buick Grand National pulled up next to me, took his hat off and put it over his heart and screamed at me " God Bless Chrylser" that car is the #1 street machine.

2. I went to Checker auto store and the store emptied out sales people and all. I stopped for air fresher and left 45 minutes later without it and a very dry mouth from all the talking.

3. Stopped at Burger King for a quick bite and I see this car screaming across the lot in my direction. This women and her two kids jump out ot the car screaming that car is georgeous. It's the most awesome car I have ever seen. It took me 15 minutes to calm her down so I could go get a bite to eat.

4. I don't know how many #1 signs and thumbs up I got but it sure made this old Soldier very proud.

5. The best of all was a guy in a new GT Shelby Mustang made a U turn when we passed each other and caught me at the light. I'm thinking not a race yet I only got 183 miles on this thing. He puts his window and and says, "I've been a Ford guy all my life but Dodge has the best looking retro car going bar none, I love you Challenger so be good to her".. I was almost in shock.
