How the heck can that Chevy be #1 on the list?

RE: Will the Challenger win the Concept Car of the Year?
It will win where it matters...in the marketplace (and most importantly in my garage!) :)
I think sometimes they give awards for this stuff based on how far from normal a concept car looks. That Camaro looks like some kind of mutation to me & might win for shock value. I could care less... |
RE: Will the Challenger win the Concept Car of the Year?
My general impression is the Dodge Challenger looked awesome from Day 1 but the Camaro took a little time for everybody to warm up to it.
To me you have to look for likeness of it from the original Camaro but their is no questioning where the Challenger came from I liked the Camaro much better when I saw it at the Dallas Auto show, but I have to admit when I saw the Challenger I was awe struck. |

RE: Will the Challenger win the Concept Car of the Year?
There was an article in Autoweek saying that NASCAR IS considering just this thing for the Busch series. Pony car bodies to bring more interest to this division and to make it less desirable for the Nextel cup boys to step down to gather info on the track and setup for the following day since the info would be largely useless with the large differences in the cars this would create.
