Does anyone know if i can take the battery out of my srt8 with push button start for the winter and have put it back some summer with no issues?

You need to run this car a couple times a week or you are asking for trouble.

Yeah I've heard you want to drive a car at least once every couple weeks or it's real hard on the seals. True storage long term is going to be up on jackstands with no wheels on the car and in a climate controlled garage.

The obvious solution is to quit your job, sell your house and move someplace like South Texas where winter isn't a problem. ;)

Go to Eastwood or Summit and get Battery Tender (I got the small waterproof one, so It can lay on the garage floor without fear of getting wet), fusible link, and battery disconnect. Had my battery disconected several times already. No issues. Blew the fusible link that keeps the clock and alarm going and had to crawl into the trunk to open it...Lol. Turning off the alarm blew the 5 amp fuse. I have since put a 15 amp fuse.

i dont think sitting will hurt the car, starting it in 14 degree weather will hurt it more then just letting it sit. But im going to take the batt out and store that with mty other ones in my basement. The garage gets really cold in the winter. but its dry:-)

I do not have any storage problems down here in Fla. Just have to dodge hurricanes during the fall.

Ahhh... good old Idaho. Nothing but sunshine.... in the summer.
4 feet of snow in November. 7 in the mountains.

Wouldn't have it any other way.
Dirt Bikes in the summer, snowmobilles in the winter.

4 wheeling and atv's, boat, motorcycles, cars in the summer, and more 4x4ing and atving in the winter. on nice days with no salt on roads cruising.
