Greetings fellow gearheads

Ok, so I never owned a Dodge Challenger, however, I did buy a new 1973 'Cuda 340 loaded for $4260. I kept it till I got married, and sold it to a collector with 15000 miles on it in 1989. Why did I sell it, very simply, stupidity. Before the 'Cuda, I bought a 1969 Plymouth Duster, with get this, a 198 slant six. While I kept the 'Cuda for very special events, mostly shows, I did drive a 1970 383 roadrunner, 1970 440 magnum GTX, a 1972 340 Satellite, a 1969 Superbird and a 1968 225 slant six Dart. I did a little surgery on the Dart and managed to get a 360 down its throat - it never was the same though, just didn't seem right to change it from stock. Yah, I like stock. I still drive a Dodge, an Intrepid and I am proud to say I am pushing 200.000 miles on it. I used to play with the engine now and again, but now, I am neglecting it a bit so I can fane "need" for a new car in the fall of 2008 (namely a Challenger) 8^) [shh, I hope the wife believes me...she is looking at me crossly]

So that about does it for my Chryslers. I also had, a 1969 RS camaro, a 1969 Judge (great car, forest green with the tack on the hood, oohh), and a 1975 firebird (ok, it was my brothers and it needed some work, so he lent it to me for a while, yecch.)

Worst accident, 1972 Satellite rollover - how, why? Hmmm, same as the reason I gave above 8^\

best moment, winning a competitors pink slip against my roadrunner, that's how I got the judge. (It needed a little work, seems he neglected to tell me the 396 had a head cold - spent a lot of money reparing that engine).
So that about does it, except to say I signed up to buy a Challenger as soon as it is possible.

Welcome to the forum, You seem to have an
very impressive collection of Mopars in your lifetime. I hope you get to get a nice chally to the list as well.
