Perspective new owner of Dodge Challenger SRT-8
 

I want to learn more about this car before I order one.
Does this car have any clearance problems like Corvettes do in driveways or parking curbs?
Which Challenger rides more comfortable and is better riding on bumpy roads? The SRT-8 or the R/T?
Which Challenger will be less expensive to maintain as a whole the 6 spd. trans. car or the 5 spd. auto car figure one uses brakes alot less on manual so brakes would last longer?[ATTACH=CONFIG]1150[/ATTACH]

unless you have the car lowered you shouldn't have any clearence issues the SRT would be more comfortable if you don't abuse the clutch the manual should give you less problems

On all my cars I keep em factory stock. I test drove a 6 spd. 2012 Mustang 5.0 GT. Very fast loves to rev. I test drove the 2012 392 SRT-8 Challenger 6 spd. and I can feel the difference in between the two suspension settings.
The Challenger should be the most comfortable riding car in comparison to its competitors like Mustang since Challenger has a much longer wheelbase. We have the worst roads here, very very bumpy so I want a car that will isolate those bumps the best. Mustang is not the best car for that especially with that live axle rear end.
Corvette is great but for a daily driver it's very difficult to park as vision is terrible front and back and with those low cement curbs or parking spaces with cement barriers it is too easy to take out the front plate or damage the radiator supports and radiator.

yea the IRS on the challenger should help alot on those bumpy roads

I am so tired of these bumpy roads we have here. In a Mustang (Live rear end axle) the car will jump if not beat you to death as you feel every little ripple in the road.
