"Other car"

There are many of us not currently driving Challengers. Some of those that are do not use them as daily drivers.
1) What is your daily driver?
2) What is your "other car?"

1) My daily driver is a 2000 Camaro SS.
2) My "other car" is my project car. A 1975 International Scout II. I hope to have it off roading within a month or so.

1. 2006 Dodge Caravan with a 3.8L and it has great acceleration for a boat anchor.

2. I have no other car that is why I need a Challenger. My wife actually drive the other 2002 Ford Supercrew.....another bigger boat anchor.

Daily Driver: 1997 Dodge Intrepid

That is it for now. I hope to add a Ram to the list and have the Challenger as the replacement for the Intrepid.

Very nice NZ440R/T! Auto or manual?

Thanks my Friend!! Those who know me know I am a straight-line fan and love my TorqueFlite-727.
It's a TorqueFlite-727 Automatic with a Gear Vendors OD - 6-Speed (close ratio).

Just the trick for quick launches and cruising the highways in 6th. [8D]'

Your welcome! Are you refering to that system that you can add to your automatic that offers a high and low system with the transmission that gives it the ability to double the amount of gear ratios? I've read advertisements for something like this in Car Craft magazines. What kind of mileage are you getting with it?

That's the one. www.gearvendors.com is the place.
Their unit bolts on to the back of your trans and splits your existing gears.
This keeps the rpms at their peak power range because they only drop half what they use to.

6 close ratios is awesome. I actually gained more as my car had 2:76 gears when I got it. [:@]
I have 3:91 gears in now but when in 6th (or 3rd over) I cruise like I have 3:05 gears.

The system is fun and easy to use, still getting it's final adjustments as we speak.
Works like this:

Pull up at the lights and slam down to first...........

1st drive then use your left foot to click OD on then your in 1st-Over (2nd)
Shift to 2nd (3rd) drive, same again OD on and your in 2nd Over (4th)
Shift to 3rd (5th) then hit OD on and your in 3rd Over (6th)

So simply put:

1st click OD on and your in 1st-Over (shift into 2nd)
2nd click OD on and your in 2nd Over (shift into 3rd)
3rd click OD on and your in 3rd Over

Good fun and sounds MEAN. Like super stock cars. [8D]

Cool! What was it stock transmission set-up?

The car came with 3:55's from factory but someone put in granny gears (2:76)

With 2:76 gears & 28" tyres it would be around 200mph @ 6630rpms.
With 3:55 gears & 28" tyres it would be around 155mph @ 6600rpms.
