Anyone Heard of "Speed Package"
 

saw it on Moe's Performance... converts the 5.7 to a 392 and a 6.1 to the ridiculous 426[:-]
for just about 2500... any thoughts???
What numbers do you think you could get out of it???

I wouldnt trust a 2500 conversion. If you stroke a car you stroke it right . And to stroke these cars right without blowing stuff up, it will cost you 6500-10000 dollars depending on your mods.

I would be very suspicious of a $2500 upgrade of that nature as well. I think kevin is probably much closer in his figures. Too many things that would have to change to keep it down that low. Beware...

Get good headers and Cams and work your way to building the car right.... then you can send your engine to PPP which makes forged internals and all that good stuff and sends you a brand new stroker with all the stock parts coated so they dont fall apart under pressure.

Well from what I understand the package they sell is all you really need to Stroke an engine... the only thing not factored in is Boring the engine out and the labor... so I guess it would end up costing closer to 5k or 6k... which still seems very reasonable...
