Maybe they make it a 2-door with a 6-speed

Hmm.. a two door Charger would be great.. but I'm not excited about a 300 being a two door though.[:'(]

I did a 5 min chop of it back a while ago, and it looked oddly MB-ish.

6-speed maybe... but I can pretty much guarantee the Charger (much less the 300) will never again be a 2-door, especially while the Challenger is still around.

Do you think that something like that may cannabilze challenger sales? Personally, I am hoping for a more retro charger design. Something sleeker like the Challenger for Dodge (and when I say sleeker I dont mean they take the challenger stretch it and add four doors to it, though I am sure somebody will try to do it), and update the boxy yet elegant design of the 300. I would not mind seeing a few, but not all design ideas used from the Imperial concept. Especially concerning the Interior.

I agree, the 300 would not look to good in a 2 door. The charger does need to be a little more sleeker also.

I think the 300 could make some money as a convertible. Once they figure out how to do a challenger convertible it shouldn't be too hard to adapt it to the 300.

If it was done right I would definetely get a convertible 300.

Actually, I saw a story recently saying the Chrysler 300 might revert to a more rounded profile, like it had BEFORE the current What-Cars-Would-Look-Like-If-Germany-Had-Won-The-War design. To tell you the truth, I liked the previous 300 body shell a LOT better than the current gangsta style.

The simple fact of the matter is that Dodge would have no need to having two coupes in the current marketplace running on the same platform. They would cannibalize each other for sure. I'm sorry to disappoint those of you who want the Charger to be a coupe like it was in the good old days but with the Challenger out it simply wouldn't make sense. The Charger will remain a sedan. I hope they make the next Charger look like the 99 concept though I'm sure like most of my dreams, it will never be fulfilled. A manual might be possible but don't hold your breath. Little note there is no way they would make this FWD. If they were going to do that, they would use a completely different platform. I'm not so sure if I agree with basing the next gen 300's styling off the Imperial. I'll agree that the interior needs work but the Imperial screams late 70s to me, both in the era and what age group I would expect to buy it. I never liked the Imperial concept and I'm not too crazy about the Nassau either. They really need to get some better designers.
