Charger SRT Allocations
I discovered some interesting sales statistics for the 2006 Charger SRT. Of 1,845 sold in the U.S., the top 15 states were:
Califorina- 286 (16%) Florida- 166 (9%) Illinois- 144 (8%) Texas- 112 (6%) Michigan- 103 (6%) New York - 72 (4%) Missouri- 65 (3%) Maryland- 62 (3%) Pennsylvania- 61 (3%) Arizona- 60 (3%) Virginia-59 (3%) New Jersey-53 (3%) Ohio- 48 (3%) Georgia-38 (2%) Colorado-33 (2%) The bottom 5 states were: Alaska- 0 Vermont- 0 Wyoming- 1 Maine- 2 Montana- 2 Looking at these stats, I wonder if this distribution will be similar for the SRT Challengers? |
RE: Charger SRT Allocations
I'm no math whiz, but the way I add it all up, 74 percent of the cars sold in 15 states. Amazing. But it also illustrates how the V-6 sales actually carry the Charger. The SRT figures represent damn few cars for the entire United States.

Having owned a 300C SRT8 and being unable to ge it to move from a stop with any ice or less that 2 inches of snow, I would say they do their vehicle research and are smarter that I am!!!!
