Still, they had to use a blower to get it up to a higher horsepower and unless the bottom end has been reworked significantly I do not see that motor lasting if someone really rode that car hard. In any event, it will be eaten by a Challenger any day.

Bruce you sound just like I did when I was defending the challenger against the gt and gt500 back when I sprung that debate on the forum.

Well I currently own (as the wife really does as it is her daily driver) a 2006 Mustang GT and I will agree its a quick little car. It has stlye and I do it give it its due but dollar for dollar the Challenger wins hands down. Everyone wants to compare apples to oranges with the gt500 and the Challenger. Yes the GT500 is wickedly fast, almost ridiculous fast but at the expense of a blower. To me, thats not stock its modified. So, if you want to compare apples to apples, then put a blower on the Challenger and then see whos fastest. And, even if fore some strange reason the GT500 is still quicker, I really dont care as I love the Challenger and NOTHING will change my mind about getting my 09 SRT8.

my dad just bought a nitmare, the cam went out in a week. since the fronts lowered on them its a pain in the ass to get it on a tow truck, etc... its just stupid considering its a brand new vehicle.

ford always gets the thumbs down. i'm sorry, but IME anything ford is problems. especially crown vics ;)
