When I bought my car I reserved these license plate characters but when I went to register my car I decided to use a generic plate. This arrived in the mail yesterday. It cost me $2.00 to reserve the characters but I thought they would just go back into the pool when I did not claim them. The department of motor vehicles states on their site that they will only hold a particular set of character for one week. The question now is should I go to the DMV and register this tag and put it on the car?
