A long day came to a good end!!

What started out as a day from heck, resulting in 9.5hrs in the Emergency room on my bday waiting on results of a possible brain aneurism, I left the hospital sore, after what seemed to be crapload of bloodwork (which I hate) and a CT scan, more blood work, I finally left all woozie, but I have to go back for an MRI .... woohoooo

I got home to the mail and noted most of parts had come in, so that was positive;

JBA Shorty Headers
BT Tech Oil Catch Can w/ hoses
BT Nose Badge
Colgan Cutome Bra w/ mirror covers

just waiting on my sequential tail lights to show up

I did manage to get my factory spoiler installed Wednesday.... car is comin along, right now I'm focussed on the car to distract me, and well with a baby arriving ANY day now, stress has been a wee bit elevated.... so while my wife rests today, i'm spending a little "me" time in the garage getting the headers installed.

Sounds like a good idea to get your mind off everything else. BTW I hope all the medical stuff comes out great for you!

thanks me too, stress is a bit down knowing the CT scan didn't see any large masses, the MRI will determine if and what small issues are present.

ah it is what it is, nothing I can do to change genetics, getting the headers done today, and my sequentials should be waiting for me when I get home.

genetics SUCK, i have to starve myself because of the obesity
that runs in my family which bring heart disease,HBP,diabetes
etc,etc,etc with it.

canadiancanuck sorry to hear about the medical emergency. You are in my prayers and I hope you get good news. Let us know how the headers turn out and what you think about the performance improvement. Good luck.

yeah was trying to get them done lastnight but was pretty tired when I got home, if the baby doesn't come these next few nights we're shooting for the weekend to get them done.

canadiancanuck, I feel your pain. Back in October, I had a surprise one morning when I found myself in a similar state as Elvis's last ones. My heart was pounding irregularly and I was having some frightening dreams between consciousness. I was afraid I was going to die. The scary thing is I'm only in my mid-20s and frankly, I'm not in bad shape either and I don't even do drugs or drink or anything like that. The doctor never had a solid answer for me on that other than I must have overworked myself and had too much caffiene the day before.

WOW, this must be their standard answer. same exact response i got
a few years ago from the cardiologist but my primary care Doc after doing
an EKG in office gave me some nitro afterwards until i could see the specialist.

well I think hospitals are just glorified dog and pony shows for high priced education. hahaha.

got my headers in last night, I'm feeling the stress of it today haha, my little old body can't climb and reach, and twist like a I was 18.

Sequential lights go in tonight

I first went to the normal doctor and he had me do some X-rays and an EKG, but everything came up negative. I think the issue is we have heart problems on both sides of my family. My parental Great-Grandfather died at the age of 43 from a heart attack, my cousin on my maternal side has a problem with irregular heart beats. I've got Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease, Cancer, and a variety of other problems in my family on top of the fact that the family has severe alcoholism, nuclear hot tempers, and are mistaken for human garbage disposals, so I guess we're all ticking time bombs in my family. Though I try to take care of myself in working out and I on principal stay as far away from alcohol as humanly possible and thusly have never been drunk nor anywhere close to it.
