New Chrysler, new logo: say hello (again) to the pentastar

We knew Chrysler would be returning to its well known pentastar logo after the sale of itself from DaimlerChrysler to Cerberus Capital Management went through, and that day was last Friday. Soon after we got a tip from a reader pointing us to a new website promoting "The New Chrysler", as well as its new look pentastar logo.
Big things are happening at Chrysler, obviously, including the sale, name change to Chrysler LLC, and the announcement of the automaker's new, industry-leading lifetime powertrain warranty. The new website touts all these things and tells us to "Get Ready for the Next Hundred Years". If you're interested in a breakdown of Chrysler's relationship with Cerberus, it's got that too.

Thats awesome.. Any information on what year its going to return?

 

glad you posted this. i saw it it on ther website. They seem to be taking this in stride, talking about the next 100 years and so forth. It will be interesting to see its placement on vehicles such as the 300. Will it be on the grille (like a strut grill) or on the hood ?

 

<<<<<Works for me! I've already received a mailing with this logo on it for a premiere event celebrating the next hundred years of Chrysler.

 

A part of me has just come back to life. It's so nice to see the hopeful, shooting star of Chrysler again. Deranged, you might just have to update your photo to the new one, no point in living in the past with such a bright future ahead. What do you say?

The only thing better would be to move the Dodgers back to Brooklyn and rebuild Ebbits Field.

 

I dunno, I'm kinda old school. Someone has to carry that torch.
