Oh My! `68 charger on modern LX platform by WCC
On TLC's street customs, West Coast Customs (the first body shop on pimp my ride) did a custom charger for CSI star Gary Dourdan.
They put an old 68 charger body on a the new LX platform and SRT powertrain. The look of an 68 charger with the performance of a new one. They also did a chevelle corvette combo as well.
For the corvette frame chevelle body

RE: Oh My! 72 charger on modern LX platform by WCC
It was a 68 Charger on the show not a 72
I watched it last night. I think its a pretty cool idea, if thats what you want. It would almost be impossible to get all of those features, and handing into the old charger without switching bodies as they did. They really didn't go overboard like they normally do.

I like it, the only thing is I think it should have classic sized rims. I hate the oversized dinner plate sized and shaped rims on classic looking cars. Wish they would have made the new Charger this way, but too late now.

Not really a fan... guess I'm too much of a purist. Just doesn't look right to me.
