Sweet. Looks good. Now, that rear looks like the Duster. Were they the car? But with different engine?

I believe the Demon was the Dodge version of the Duster.

It looks great Patrick. Congrats to you.

the duster and dart were the "base models" of sorts...the demon was a performance package, but it was also offered with a slant six, whatever sense that makes.

the body style is the same as all a-bodies from 71-76, which includes darts, dusters, and demons...the front and rear were different, and the wheelbase is shorter...the demon has a 108" wb, the other models have 111, i believe.

The Duster was the sport version of the Plymouth Valiant, the Demon was the Dodge equivalent based on the Dart. Looks real solid Patrick- paint looks good, and that undercarriage looks great. Too bad they cut the inner fenders, but for the price, you couldn't go wrong! Congrats!

RE: pictures of the demon!

the inner fenders, or lack thereof, are going to be replaced with at least the front half of a roll cage, maybe a full cage...not sure yet

in some of the pictures, the undercarriage looks rusty, but its all just dirt..the car is filthy..when i go home in a few weeks, i might clean it up and put the headlights and bezels in and take new pictures...:D

I put that exact same steering wheel in my 72 VW Bug. :D. I want to get something like that for my truck.

Very nice! That is a great way to start a project with it being clean and all of the rust taken care of.

What size engine are you planning on putting in there? Have you decided yet?
