Sun coming up today!

Woo-Hoo....It's going to be sunny and 35 today!!! It's T shirt & shorts weather. Looks like a great day to be alive. Lets hear how you guys are doing today. I hope it's going great! Got your Challengers on the road yet?

wp23n 03-04-2010 03:51 AM

hopefully this weekend, snow almost all melted off and supposed to
be in the 50s.

RareTA 03-04-2010 04:44 AM

Hope you have a great time. Try not to strain yourself smiling to big. I still have 3-4 feet of snow between the back garage and the street so mine will have to wait. It's coming though...I can feel it.

wp23n 03-04-2010 09:01 AM

believe me i am jonesing for it, i have the predator that i havent installed yet too
so think i am going to set up my 20s with it and then install the mide grade tune
and see how it feels.

i REALLY cant wait until this weekend and hell i may even take off monday.

RareTA 03-04-2010 11:52 AM

I to have some stuff I've gotten over the winter to install. I just have to wait till this darn snow is gone. Days like today are killing me not being able to get to it.

Ya it's depressing. As of now the whole city is in flood mode. We have a tad less snow that we did this time last year. They say the water content is 2-3 times More though. We had MAJOR flooding last year so they think it's going to be worse.....maby. They always add the maybe. The city is already building clay dikes and the volunteer sand baggers are making bags and storing them. They are making 100K a day. The city wants 3 million ready to go.

if you volunteer and you see national TV cameras lurking around like thay always do make sure you give us the devils horns sign with both hands
so we know its you.

just got back from 65 miles with mine, installed the predator 89 tune
and will test it tomorrow with hopefully another 100+ miles of ear to ear
smiling fun.

It was 51 degrees today in south Jersey and almost all the snow is gone! I was able to take my hemi-orange SRT for a cruise and got the usual thumbs-up and rubber-neck stares. At a traffic light, a guy in a family Hundai asked me if I wanted to race. He was just kidding! It felt good to be back on the road.

RareTA 03-06-2010 06:04 PM

Well I'm happy for you guys that have been able to get your cars out. Maybe even a little jealous. :D Ha Ha! It will be at least 3 more weeks before I can even think about it. It drizzled all day today but the snow went down a lot. There is a lot to go yet.

wp23n 03-08-2010 04:33 AM

i did another 150 yesterday, down to the shore then from seaside heights up through
point pleasant, met a guy with an SRT 8 in seaside and talked with him for about 15 minutes before heading back out.
my blastin bobs must sound really good though,LOL. he asked if it was an SRT8 when i backed in next to him, i said no its an SE check the rear side stripe ( S/E in block letters) he said sounds great. i appreciated that.

cruised up along the boards to rt 35 and took a few photos on the inter coastal side in ortley beach and then on up to point pleasant and got some young hotties asking for a ride on arnold avenue, if i was 20 years younger i probably would have taken them up on it.

then back on 88 through Brick and down rt 9 back to dover to pick up 37 and head back home.

all in all it was a beautiful day and i made the most of it. about 215 miles on the October fill up, another nice weekend and i can run the rest out and top off with fresh premium.

RareTA 03-08-2010 05:10 AM

Sounds like a blast....I'm just setting watching the snow melt. I cannot wait to fire the R/T up and just go. :(

Sun coming up today

The jewel that lies hidden in Sun Tzu is that the principles of war he espouses are still valid. The articles used "in" war are to some extent irrelevant. The articles "of" war are still relevant. There is a subtle difference.

I think the whacko above me needs to go also!

Wow the snow has went down this week but it will be a while before I can see grass. I'm hoping by April also. It depends on how fast it melts and how much snow or rain as to what type of flood we will recieve.

stevelegel 03-11-2010 02:55 PM

it's been great in Detroit weather wise...dry roads...had my 08 out three days...went Camaro hunting...none in sight

MaybeChallenger 03-11-2010 07:20 PM

Are they Hiding ??

another one of those spammers testing the waters no doubt.

they are calling for flooding here this weekend now, supposed to get
3"-4" of rain starting tonight through tomorrow night and with 4½ feet of snow pack up north all feeding the delaware river it doesnt look good.
thankfully i'm about a ½ mile away and all up hill

I feel for you also. Like you we are in the highest part of the city. In the zone maps they want the rest of town to come to our part of town in case of a Levy brake.

PRND3L 03-12-2010 07:13 AM

all the snow melted here this week plus the rain and its flooding here too, but a few miles away, right where the Root River drains into Lake Michigan.
