Testing newest set up.

Shelby finished high school and no longer needs her high school lap top tablet which was set up for use at her school. I greed to buy her used one and pay for her new computer for college. I had my local “Speedy Techs”, Mike, come to the house and delete out Shelby’s school stuff, firewalls and school only network connections and get me ready for the road trip by setting up wireless, and giving me a tutorial. I loaded my address books and made a list of my favorites and have the word processor and loaded my Kodak easy share software.

I should be able to keep a log of the trip, send and receive email via Comcast remote, load photos from the camera, check the Thunderbird and Challenger forums and even shop ebay!

So today I went to local McD’s with free wifi to try it out. I found the internet wireless icon and selected a connection form the drop down search, used the word processor to write this and internet for Comcast to email you and internet to test posting on forums.

So I found tha Mc’s internet connection is $2.95 for 2 hours. Local starabucks was not online…I’ll need to hunt down freebie.

After work, a local pub has free wifi AND happy hour. I set my home page and added favorites. If ya feel like, send me a note that the system is working.

Cool,
Steve

Looks like you are good to go Doc. This post looks ok. When you get moving on your road trip, don't forget to stop by and see me and Mopar2ya here in Washington. I'm on the north end of Seattle in Bothell and he's down south towards Olympia, from what I gather in his posts.

On a positive note, I ordered my baby yesterday, a silver SRT 8. It probably won't be around when you drive by, but it would be great to see yours.[sm=gears.gif]

Yeah Steven... don't forget to get in touch when you blow thru here. I am actually out in the North Bend area... near Snoqualmie falls... actually not too far from Bothell.

Kramtrah, we'll have to meet up with Challengers one day... just because we can!!
