TOYOTA IN NASCAR!!!

RE: TOYOTA IN NASCAR!!!
I seem to remember that they have a phenomenal engine maybe one of the best around but that is like saying all I need is a good quarterback to win a football game.
You need a team and total package to win one of these.
You need a team and total package to win one of these.

RE: TOYOTA IN NASCAR!!!
I have lost interest in NASCAR because the cars the manufactures run are too much alike. They all use the same platform, they use the same engine size, the cars they run look nothing like the cars they are named after, etc. I think they need to go back and run the actual cars they sell, with the engines and transmissions they actually use. That would keep me interested. Toyota should only be allowed to use an engine they actually use in one of their vehicles. If I remember correctly, when Toyota intered into the truck series, GM, Ford, and Chrysler were forced to help them design a pushrod engine and got to copy off of each manufactures designs. They should have to either use a pushrod engine that they use outside of NASCAR as the Big Three was forced to do in the earily years or not be allowed at all. I don't like Toyota coming in like this.

So put the "STOCK" back into Stock car racing. I think that would be a good idea.

RE: TOYOTA IN NASCAR!!!
Interesting how they are all the same but this has really become a spectator sport.....probably because of the drivers and their personalities.
I would prefer a car that look likes the originals and have their original parts and not all have the same platform.
