Veterans Day

Thank you to all Vets who have served our country for all our 200+ years as a Republic. You have honored us through your tireless service in some of the most difficult places on earth. Your ever vigilant watchful eye over GOD and country. I salute you all Men and Women of the American Forces here and over seas and to the families that support them in so many difficult times. I have lost an uncle in Korea and a cousin in Panama, their death does not go in vain. They served their country and we will not forget them, they paid the ultimate price, but we have so many more who have given piece of mind and limbs to give us the freedom we enjoy today. Freedom is not bought in one payment, but is payed in installments with the blood and spirit of the free countries of this world. We will not go into the night quietly and we shall shout out the names of our Heros who have fought for us to have the right to TRUTH, JUSITCE, and the AMERICAN WAY. GOD bless America and her Veterans on this day that we as Americans say... Thank You. Thank You so very much.

Thank you for posting this tribute lear. I would like to say thank you to the all those who served during our countries history that gives us the freedom we all get to enjoy today. If it were not for them, we probably would not have the freedom to have our discussion forums let alone the car we all dream of owning. I would like to salute my Grandfather who served in WWII as well as his brother who served as well as my other Grandfather's brother who served. I would like to salute my cousin who is currently serving, my friend Dan who has served a couple tours of duty, my boss Mike for his twenty years of service, and many other people I met this summer who have fought in various wars for our country. I will remember all of them and use to day to recognize their sacrifices even if my campus prefers to ignore it.

Thanks again for all of your sacrifice. I appreciate it.

You have kept us free at the land we call home. Free to live as we see fit, free to work, worship, speak our minds, to choose our own leaders. May the rest of us never take any of you for granted.
