XXX Root Beer - Issaquah 8/16
 

RUBBERBNDMAN and I were talking last week about meeting up at the Triple X in Issaquah this Saturday Aug 16th... weather permitting of course.
Last time I went was at about 6:00 or so and seems that was a good time to show. Anybody wanting to see a new Challenger or bring thier own...
Come on down. If the weather is nice I can almost guarantee a couple new Challengers will show... what say RUBBERBNDMAN??

Might be a great opportunity to possibly meet a few folks from this board. Reply to this post if you plan on coming out so we might know who to expect.

Recent studies have revealed that gun toting, glue huffing, Challenger obsessed stalkers have been frequenting Challenger forums in order to lure unsuspecting Challenger owners to isolated Triple X Root Beer car nights in order to steal thier cars... not for the car but in hopes that the trunk will be filled with boxes of precious glue...

ok brothers, I am game. I'll be there in the Durango SILVER of course. We have to pick up our daughter down by Boeing in Renton around 3pm from our friends. Will stay there a bit and then will head on over to meet you guys who are lucky to have THE CAR. Of course we'll have to grab a bite too, but you and your cars are really why I want to be there. I am on my own kids want to watch Seahawks. I will be there at 6 or so.Too bad I cant pick up the game on my gig.Or can I ? This car seems to do everything else.

It sure was cool seeing all the attention the cars got. Bonus having all three colors at one time!!

yes that was cool.We should hit Covington Walmart friday night. They have cruise in there also.

Thanks for bringing the silver Mike. First time I got to see one in the flesh. Looked better in real life than in the pics. Funny how pics just dont do these cars justice... at all.

You could always paint the slowness away, but make sure you get all the black off prior to adding the silver paint.

Is that color Hemi orange, or Mango?

I think that the SILVER of my Durango and of your right colored SILVER Challenger were overwhelming for Chris and his wife. Never the less it was great meeting you guys last night and will be all the better once mine arrives. Sure was great to hang out with the newest, and by far, the best muscle car around. Sorry to see there was only one other Mopar there. The 71 Charger R/T was it... fords and chevs everywhere. Come to think of it thats pretty typical here. Does that seem typical elsewhere?

Also sorry to say that as much as you want the wife and I to perfer the silver its not happening... we prefer the faster colors. ;)

I gotta admit that given the limited color options available in the 08s, I woulda gone with silver. Frankly, I've gotten tired of seeing pics of nothing but orange Challengers from the day the concept car was unveiled (although it is a beautiful color when seen in real life). And I'm too lazy to ever own a black car. Keeping them clean is too much trouble.
