Agree. As long as you have not undone the pinion nut there is no implications to the pinion in a correct driveshaft swap.

I would not be surprised (unfortunately) that 2010 is the last year of any performance versions of the Challenger. I predict new colors, stripes, etc. but nothing "exciting" under the hood... Ugh

Although cool looking...Way too much $$ IMO. Especially now. It will be interesting to see how many cars they actually sell?

RE: 180 tstat

I'd do some more research on the 180 stat before I swapped it. These cars run considerably hotter by design and the implications of "cooling" them off could impact your multitude of sensors...

RE: Has anyone changed out you diff gears???

May want to check some of the "new" Charger forums as these guys have been facing the same issue for longer. I have read some of the posts a while back and clearly the electronics is the largest...

RE: Does it Have a "Real" Hemi?

Being an owner of both the original 426 as well as two 5.7 equipped vehicles I had the same question posed to me many times. It is true, the 5.7 & 6.1 pistons look nothing like the 50's-70's era...

RE: 72 360 won't stay running

I agree w/ Bob's comments exactly. Once you get it running, then you can one by one re-connect the hoses per a reference guide.

Just two more cents on my part. You may want to consider just...

RE: Real Carbon Fiber Hood for Challenger

rt,

Cool info you posted. It looks like Drake has this done right!! It even looks as if the scoop itself it more pronounced than the stock hood? The power activated hood inserts are awesome!!

Hurst Edition Challengers

I thought the Hurst Edition Challengers ( 4 different versions) looked quite awesome until I saw the pricing...Yikes! If I'm reading that right it is a good $20K over MSRP and even higher for the...

RE: Help me with my Challenger R/T plz

Black would be closer to gloss black

Flat Black is just that, no shine or sheen to it, generally not used on the exterior

Matte Black is a semi gloss - between gloss and flat. It is the...

RE: Heated rear seats??

Thanks for the info guys.

And to be fair, my 6 yr old was not "asking" for them but rather commenting on why Mom & Dad had them up front (in my 300C) but she did not? Then added, "can our next...

Heated rear seats??

For those of you have may have one of these bad boys already, can they be had w/ rear "butt warmers"?? I looked at Dodge.com but did not see it referenced at all?? As we discuss the purchase, my...

RE: bush approves 17.4 bill for chrysler +gm

My fear is Cebreus will no doubt get their grubby little hands on Chrysler's funds and will use it to continue their sales/break up efforts. Wouldn't that be great that we fund the dismantling of...

RE: Lifetime Warranty

A "lifetime" warranty these days may work out if you're 92 and smoke 2 packs a day...

However, I'm not as concerned that if Chrysler went under that these cars would be next Deloreans. Take...

RE: Is your Challenger to low key?

In that last picture the hood is really cool. It appears to have a center hood scoop while retaining the stock scoops...cool!

RE: Hood Vents

Again, if described as a "functional heat extractor" there would be no debate/discussion. Personally, I would have loved to see them do ducting from the drivers side scoop to the air box and the...

RE: Hood Vents

I'm with Jeremiah on this one. Lessening engine compartment temps does help, but that is "heat extraction" and exactly how Dodge referred to it with the scoop on the Charger SRT8...which essentially...

RE: Shaker Hood Opinions Wanted!

It is not hard to make the Shaker functional. Ford did for the 2003 Mach 1 Mustang. I have that identical set up on my'01 Bullitt. Works well & shakes too:D

RE: Dodge brand is on life support

As much as I want Chrysler to survive, I wondered why they were there with "hat in hand" for the bailout? They are the only privately held of the three and SHOULD be going to Cebreus for an...
