2009 Challenger
 

Howdy folks! Been a lurker here enjoying the information and pictures of the new Challenger, waiting for the time when I can order my own. Anyway, I was at Talledega (Alabama) today for the Nascar race and to my surprise there was a 2009 Challenger there! It was Tor Red with black hood stripes (They were doing a voting on colors other than what Dodge has put out so far and I see this as good news for more color options). They were not carbon fiber as the concept or the 2008's I have seen at the Chicago auto show though. It had the 6 speed in it and the interior was the same as the car show 2008's. I didnt have a camera but the wife had her cell and snapped the enclosed pic.

Welcome and thanks for the pic! What cell phone do you have? Thats really a pretty good pic for a cell phone!

And you would be right on both accounts! It seemed that there was not a huge amount of attention to the car. There were some folks were interested in it but not the interest level I saw at the car show. Yes, they probably were looking at the wife! The cell phone is a fairly new Blackberry Pearl. I have a few others I will post later that she took also.

The Challenger looks awesome,sorry but the rams head on the nose belongs on trucks.

Yep. Seems like you could have a "D" with a PentaStar under/behind it with a "D" "O" to the left of it and a "G" "E" to the right of it....

Little trim tape, and it'll be square....

Here is the second pic that was taken. Sorry I didnt have my camera as I would have taken a pic of every square inch. Yes that is me staring intentley at the interior and the 6 speed..wishing I could get my mitt around it and try in on for size!

if i seen a 09 6 speed challenger i would have taken a picture of the 6 speed, camera phone or not... what gives???
