Truly EXCELLENT pics. I gotta know from you or someone else: Does it appear that the Challenger logo can be fairly easily removed from the grille? Being old school, I intend to affix the appropriate script Challenger badge to mine on the front fenders, the right-hand side of the trunk lid and the driver's side of the grille. If the modern badge is merely applied with tape or bolted on, it should be no problem to remove. ;)

Someone posted a picture of a Chally with no badges, so it's easy to remove and replace on the grill.

Is it just me, or does the Hemi Orange Daytona in the background appear to have a more brownish hue than the Hemi Orange Challenger in the foreground?

I noticed the same thing. The local dealer has a hemi orange daytona in the show room and when I look at it, it seems different than the challenger hemi orange that I've seen in pictures. I thought it was just me but I guess I'll see in a couple weeks when my Challenger arrives. :D

Exactly what I noticed when I went to my dealer and they had a "Hemi Orange" Daytona on the showroom floor. Looked to have a "burnt orange" hue to it. I did not think it was a very nice orange but it did say Hemi Orange on the window sticker. Hoping the Challenger Hemi Orange is different. Guess I will have to wait and see...

I am with you in some of your mods. I have already purchased a set of the Challenger fender scipt from a 70 Challenger. They will look very nice on my 09 Hemi Orange Challenger!

Yes, there is a difference and thank God..

Yeah, I wondered about that. I've now seen two what apparently are "Hemi Orange" Daytonas. Maybe University of Texas grads appreciate the burnt orange, but I didn't care for it.

Anybody know of a place that explains this so I can read it as fact instead of worrying that I'll be getting a burnt orange Challenger... [:o]

Thanks!

The Charger Daytona in the background is a Go-Man-Go not Hemi orange. I have seen the rare Hemi Orange Chargers and they are Hemi orange. They are a limited number edition.:)

definitely different. I think the Charger has a little more metallic look to the paint, and darker as mentioned above.

Exactly right, my friend.
That Daytona is Go-Man-Go, not Hemi Orange.
BTW....GoManGo is only available on the Chargers as a Daytona R/T color. I believe each color was limited to 5000 cars, so each Daytona has a plaque in the door jamb that indicates the number "xxxx of 5000".

The U of T grads may appreciate the go-man-go Charger, but I love the (U of I) hemi orange Challenger!

So, #191 started life at Montrose Dodge in Germantown, MD. However, last night, it was sitting at Fitzgerald Dodge in Silver Spring, MD. My car gets here on Tuesday, but I've been dying to see on in person. I've only ever seen the concept in person. Anyone know if dealers are swapping cars or what?

Hey guys, there's a huge different between between the orange charger and the challenger. I went today and saw it for the first time. it's so much more than what I was waiting for. Everybody is going to love this car no doubt. here are the couple of pics a friend took while i was checking her out it's # 343.

Dealers calling that hemi orange must be confused or attempting to deceive. I've seen both the new hemi-orange daytona chargers and the challenger in hemi orange and the color is identical to the one you've been seeing for 2 years.
